M OPEL ANT DIADVMENIAN CAES Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian to right, seen from behind. Rev. SPES PVBLICA Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising skirt with her left. BMC -, cf. 94 (bust draped only). Clay issue 3. Cohen -, cf. 21 (bust draped only). RIC 116. Lustrous and sharp, a beautiful piece. Very minor die rust on the obverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
